I sure do love golf.

Even from my early teenage years shagging range balls at our local Country Club, I always knew this was the industry for me. Before you knew it, I was a 20 something year old golf pro at that same Country Club. My career took me west to the high desert of Scottsdale, then North to Summit County, Colorado, eventually landing me permanently on the West Side of Maui at Kapalua Resort.

Fast forward some years, and I’ve found myself at golf’s unofficial American home, Bandon Dunes on the Southern Oregon Coast. It is heaven on earth. It is pure links golf. It is where the best caddies in the country come to work. Im not sure what made me start sewing head covers out of old trade blankets for my friends some years back. I always liked those blankets…so much character in each design. The bright colors, the stories they told, the relevance to the history of this area... They took me hours to finish, but boy was it gratifying to pass them along to my mates. I started incorporating Scottish Tweed into our original designs. It’s representative of golf’s yesteryear, while also being a sturdy, unique material with just as much character as some of those vintage blankets I started with. We’ve found it neat to fuse the two looks together from time to time. These were the beginnings of Ross Co. Golf.

Please enjoy what I’ve created. They’re neat. They’re well made. They make me proud of a life lived on the links.
